Due to the concern surroundong the coronavirus (COVID-19), and the government's rolling mandate around no public gatherings, we have made the unprecedented decision not the hold the usual East Gate 5K/1K but instead turn the race into a virtual 5K/1K this year! You will still be mailed your race shirt and can print your finisher certificate when finished.

This has not been a normal year so far! Our priority lies with the safety of our running community, from all of our participants, volunteers, and to those who help put on the event. Please get involved! East Gate still needs to help families with illness this year and since this is a primary fundraiser I hope you eill ake the most of it, take pictures, film, post everything with the #2020eastgate5k and have fun!

You may do your race now through July 4th! I look forward to seeing your pictures and to next year's event!

 Our goal for this 5k is to first: be a witness by raising awareness to families, friends, and coworkers about the one way to get to Heaven, through Christ Jesus.
